A kitchen and bath renovation, this project revitalized a dated 1960s kitchen, introducing contemporary cabinetry and modern design elements. New windows, framing picturesque views of an English garden in the backyard, infuse the space with natural light and extend the visual connection to the outdoors. To accommodate the absence of upper cabinets due to the windows, the studio repurposed space from an adjacent dining area, installing tall custom pantry units flanking a sleek glass door refrigerator. The island boasts undercounter refrigeration drawers and a distinctive trough sink

A generously sized range, featuring a stainless steel backsplash and shelf, along with a matching hood and utility hooks mounted on the tiled wall behind, anchors the cooking area. Adjacent to the kitchen, a casual dining table doubles as a convenient mudroom, complete with wall hooks, open storage for boots, and a small cabinet for outerwear and hats, positioned alongside a busy side entrance door.

The seamlessly integrated space extends into a new family room, distinguished by custom millwork and a new gas fireplace. The dining room, currently repurposed as a playroom, features adaptable custom millwork designed to accommodate both toys and future porcelain dinnerware, ensuring a stylish yet kid-friendly environment throughout.
