Coastal-inspired family room with light blue and neutral tones, designed by New England fabric designer Ellisha Alexina and a Hingham interior designer

This post is a little shout-out to some of the people we love in the New England interior design industry. A Massachusetts native, her designs come to life in Boston, and her textiles are made in Western Massachusetts. We love local.

A classic Boston kitchen design in a Winchester home with light green cabinets, reclaimed oak shelving, and a locally made wood and metal island.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, let’s talk kitchens—the heart of the home. As a Boston kitchen designer, I’ve tackled some pretty unforgettable projects. So, grab a seat (preferably near a fire) and let’s take a little journey through some of the most captivating and cozy fireplaces we’ve had the pleasure of reviving.

If you’re a brownstone lover, you know the charm: intricate plaster moldings, original details, and vintage fireplaces. In this South End project, we celebrated a historic brownstone renovation while designing a layout for modern living. With en-suite bedrooms, a luxurious primary suite, and a cozy guest suite, this home blends history and function. As a Boston interior designer, we honored the past while creating a fresh, livable space.
