INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO

BOSTON

in Boston's South End underwent a comprehensive renovation, meticulously preserving its historical charm. Original pine floors, intricate ceiling moldings, ornate fireplace mantels, and vintage tiles, including an authentic mirror in the formal living room, were all retained. The studio crafted bespoke millwork seamlessly integrating modern amenities such as a concealed TV, beverage refrigerator, and ice maker, while maintaining the integrity of the original architecture. Custom cabinetry was artfully designed to discreetly accommodate a coat closet and dining room storage.

Structural enhancements facilitated the addition of new doors and windows at the garden level, flooding the kitchen and casual dining/living area with natural light. The cabinetry, painted in neutral grey and navy blue, delineates spaces, with oak cabinets and a casual dining area on one end and a TV lounge on the other.

A new master suite was strategically laid out to offer a spacious bedroom, walk-in closet, and an bathroom with both dual showers and a freestanding tub. Additional bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper floors cater to children and guests, while the basement features a compact workout room and a wine cellar. New stairs leading to the rooftop deck provide access to views of the Boston skyline.
