Interior Decorator Boston: Crafting Personal Spaces
Our design studio does so much more than manage construction projects — we love decorating. Whether it’s optimizing your furniture layout or sourcing real-world items, we approach decorating with a deeply personal touch. It’s not about chasing Pinterest trends; it’s about designing for your life. Whether your inspiration comes from your art, collectibles, or even that corner of the house you’d rather not talk about, we ensure every choice reflects how you live.
Our methodical approach ensures no detail is overlooked. From selecting paint colors, lighting, and wallpaper to choosing practical, livable furniture – we create a seamless plan for your home. The finishing touches, like art and textiles, bring everything to life. Behind the scenes, our team stays organized with AutoCAD drawings, graphic design presentations, and spreadsheet tracking. Because the most experienced interior decorators in Boston know that 20% of the process is fun selections and 80% is execution. Let’s take a look at 3 of our favorite projects where decorating took center stage: a historic Concord estate, a Brookline renovation, and a Hingham refresh.
Historic Concord Home with European Sensibilities
This 10,000-square-foot home in Concord was a dream to work on. With its historic charm and the daily demands of a family of 5, we took on the challenge of making this home practical. We started with essentials like upgrading a lot of light fixtures. We continued by adding wallpaper, and giving the architectural details a much-needed update – fresh paint. The existing floors were protected with subtle and neutral area rugs, thanks to Landry & Acari.
The furniture layers came next: sofas, beds, tables, and chairs that were as functional as they were beautiful. Finally, we added art, accent tables, and custom throw pillows to reflect the homeowner’s unique style. The result is a livable yet elegant home that is featured in Boston Home Magazine, Winter 2025 issue. Explore more of this project here. Brookline Design: A Home Filled with Art and Heart
Our Brookline design project is the perfect example of how we collaborate with homeowners to create spaces that feel authentically theirs. A home can be as unique as its owners. For this creative family — including an artist — every design choice was personal. We worked together to create spaces full of their personality. We started with paint and carefully selected wallpaper, setting the tone for each room.
Vintage treasures they already loved were paired with custom sofas and chairs. Next came the textiles: chenille bolsters, plaid alpaca pillows, and even a custom French tufted daybed mattress. Their incredible art collection, including works by the client and her mother, adorning every wall. It’s a home filled with creativity, love, and one-of-a-kind style. Hingham Interior Decorator: Adding Warmth to White Spaces
When our Hingham client wrapped up a major renovation, they needed help turning their pristine white interiors into a warm yet durable home. Enter us. We started in the foyer and dining room, layering wallpaper, window treatments, and custom furniture to give the spaces personality. A grand dining table anchors the room, while cozy lounge chairs offer the perfect spot for coffee or cocktails. Throughout the home, every piece was chosen to balance beauty and strength—perfect for a family of six (plus their two dogs). From the family room to the gym, we infused color, practicality, and warmth into every corner.
Why Decorating Matters
We know some people cringe at the word decorator, but we’ve come to embrace it. While we specialize in interior architectural design, we wear the “decorator” badge with pride. The finishing touches are truly what make a house feel like home. Construction is essential, but no one wants to have bare walls. And no one wants their home to look like everyone else’s. Our decorating process is like creating a painting: we layer colors, textures, and unique combinations to craft spaces that are deeply personal and entirely yours.
