Bringing 20 Years of Expertise
Welcome to the land of well-planned spaces and perfectly fluffed pillows. We’re a full-service design firm based in Boston, and we love structure. No, really—We. Love. Structure. With 20 years of experience (including 15 years in commercial interiors), Sarah brings the big-gun processes from Boston’s top firms (Elkus Manfredi Architects, McGuinness Group) straight to your home. From historic charm to new builds, our designs are thoughtful, client-focused, and, dare we say, unforgettable.
This blog post is divided into two parts: Part I focuses on our services—what we offer. Part II dives into our process—how we work.
Part I: Our Services
Full-Service Home Design: From Planning to Decorating
If your home needs a top-to-bottom transformation, you’re in the right place. We tackle large-scale renovations, historic restorations, and new construction with precision and beauty. Think custom layouts, lighting plans, bespoke millwork, and more. By the time we’re done, you’ll have a home that’s cohesive, stylish, and totally you.
Here’s how we do it:
- Design: This phase is all about space planning. We create detailed drawings, including construction documents and interior elevations. Architects handle the exterior; we’re the experts on everything inside. From lighting placement to furniture layouts, we obsess over every detail.
- Decorating: The fun begins here. This is where we bring in rugs, window treatments, art, and yes—pillows (you knew that was coming).
We blend design and decorating to create a seamless vision. One of our favorite projects in Hingham (see more here). took two years of layouts, drawings, and management. The result: A warm, livable, perfectly curated home that’s now the stuff of Pinterest dreams.
Partial Home Design: Focused Renovations for Kitchens and Bath Design
Not ready for the full house treatment? That’s cool. We specialize in focused renovations, especially kitchens and baths. These projects don’t always need an architect, so we take the reins on both design and construction.
The process is streamlined but still thorough:
- Design: Space planning, construction drawings, budgeting, and builder onboarding.
- Decorating: Wallpaper, paint colors, furniture, and art—the works.
Take our Milton kitchen and bath project, for example. It’s a traditional home that we elevated with modern touches. Boston Home magazine loved it so much they featured it in their Kitchen Issue, and New England Home spotlighted the bathroom.
Decorating Services: Transform Your Space
Not every project needs a sledgehammer. If you want to refresh your home without a full-scale renovation, decorating services are the way to go.
We handle it all: paint, wallpaper, lighting, furniture, art—you name it. Small changes like adding millwork or swapping out light fixtures can make a big difference. And don’t get us started on pillows and rugs—they’re magic.
One of our favorite projects was a historic Concord home. We replaced nearly 100 light fixtures, added contemporary furniture, and curated art throughout. These updates completely transformed the space. The result? A classic New England estate featured in Boston Home, Winter 2025.
